- Πολλαπλασιασμός καρποφόρων δέντρων, με έμφαση στον αγενή πολλαπλασιασμό, τη ριζοβολία μοσχευμάτων και τον μικροπολλαπλασιασμό υποκειμένων πυρηνοκάρπων.
- Διερεύνηση των φυσιολογικών και βιοχημικών μηχανισμών σχηματισμού και ανάπτυξης επίκτητων ριζών καρποφόρων δέντρων.
- Επίδραση καλλιεργητικών τεχνικών και της θρέψης στην ανάπτυξη, τη φυσιολογία και την παραγωγικότητα των καρποφόρων δέντρων, καθώς και στην ποιότητα των καρπών, συμπεριλαμβανομένων των συστημάτων καλλιέργειας εκτός εδάφους.
- Μελέτη των μηχανισμών απόκρισης των καρποφόρων φυτών σε αβιοτικές και βιοτικές καταπονήσεις.
