Postgraduate studies
Laboratory members teach in the Postgraduate Programme of the Department of Crop Science “Cutting-Edge Fields and Innovative Applications in the Production and Preservation of Horticultural and Floricultural Species”. The following courses fall within the Laboratory’s field and are offered in the Programme’s specialisations “Viticulture, Pomology and Olive Cultivation” and “Quality – Postharvest Biology and Technology of Fruits, Vegetables and Flowers”.

Practical training
The Laboratory’s educational activity combines theoretical instruction with practical training. Students are trained in Pomology subjects at the experimental orchard (the Pomology Orchard) of the Agricultural University of Athens, in the greenhouses and in the Laboratory’s classrooms, linking theoretical knowledge with practical application.
